About the event

Experience one of the most dramatic chapters in British history brought vividly to life. Meet the figures who shaped the conflict:

  • The Royalist Soldier – Loyal to King Charles, proud and steadfast, defending Crown and Church against all odds.
  • The Parliamentarian Soldier – Fierce and determined, fighting for Parliament, the people, and a vision of a new England.
  • The Officer and Gentleman of the Gentry – A commanding presence, navigating the politics and loyalties that divided families and kingdoms.

Come face-to-face with the past and hear their stories through live re-enactment, immersive interpretation, and powerful storytelling.

Are bikes or scooters allowed?

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.

Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
