Join us in the Soane Stable Yard for a free, drop‑in creative workshop celebrating the remarkable women who have served throughout military history.

About the event

Children can choose from three illustrated templates of women in military uniform – including a Chelsea Pensioner – and design and colour their own unique uniform.

Each template includes a short introduction to the role, helping young visitors learn about the diverse contributions women have made to the armed forces while expressing their creativity.

This hands‑on activity runs continuously from 10:00 to 16:00, and families are welcome to drop in at any time.

Come explore, create, and celebrate the stories of inspiring women in uniform.
