Uncover the lives and legacies of women who helped shape Chelsea with expert tour guide Emily Laurence Baker.
About the event
What do a soldier, a singer, a queen and a fashion icon all have in common? They are bold women who made their voices heard and left a lasting mark on history and they all have connections to Chelsea.
On this two-hour walking tour through Chelsea’s historic streets, discover the stories of remarkable women who challenged expectations, influenced culture and shaped the neighbourhood in ways that can still be felt today. From artists and writers to performers and pioneers, this walk uncovers the inspiring, surprising and sometimes forgotten histories hidden across Chelsea.
Led by Blue Badge Guide Emily Laurence Baker, the tour will weave through elegant streets, historic landmarks and tucked-away corners of Chelsea, bringing these extraordinary stories to life.
The tour starts and ends at the National Army Museum.
