As the sun sets and the site falls quiet, you’ll be guided through the historic grounds under the cover of night – hearing stories rarely shared in the daylight. Discover the secrets of Chelsea’s past, from tales of the legendary Highway Patrols on the King’s Road to the fascinating history housed within our magnificent Great Hall and sacred Chapel.

Wander through the beautifully lit Figure Court, taking in the dramatic night-time views of our historic buildings and peaceful grounds. The tour concludes at the solemn Chillianwala Memorial, where you’ll hear of the fierce battle it commemorates – a poignant end beneath the stars.

Your evening begins in the stunning Grade II listed Soane Stable Yard, where you’ll be welcomed with a complimentary drink and the rare opportunity to chat informally with your Chelsea Pensioner guide.
