About the event
Join The HandleBards at Royal Hospital Chelsea for a lively outdoor production of Shakespeare’s As You Like It.
Travelling with their set, props and costumes by bicycle, this four-person troupe brings an environmentally sustainable and brilliantly funny take on Shakespeare to the Soane Stable Yard.
Expect mistaken identity, romance, shepherds, wrestling and plenty of chaos as Rosalind and Celia escape to the Forest of Arden.
Please dress for the weather. Chairs are provided, but picnics, outside alcohol and umbrellas are not permitted.

Outdoor event. Dress for weather. No umbrellas. Chairs provided. Food and drink available from Heidi Bakery. Site is fully accessible. Tickets may be available on the day for £21, subject to availability.

Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
