Enjoy a relaxed summer afternoon of music, memories and community spirit with the much-loved Chelsea Pensioner Singers.

About the event

Enjoy a lively Summer Concert with the Chelsea Pensioner Singers as they perform favourite tunes, sharing joy, music, and memories in their cherished home setting at the Soane Stable Yard.

Singing is a joyful, uplifting experience – and no one shares it quite like the Chelsea Pensioner Singers. With performances at iconic venues including St Paul’s Cathedral, St James’s Palace, and Sandown Park Races – not to mention local Chelsea pubs -they bring heart, harmony, and humour wherever they go. But it’s performing at home that brings them the greatest joy.

Join them for a special Summer Concert, where they’ll treat you to a lively selection of their favourite tunes. It promises to be a warm, spirited afternoon of music, memories, and camaraderie.

About the speaker

The Chelsea Pensioner Singers formed 11 years ago as an activity in the Infirmary at the Royal Hospital Chelsea. The group has gone from strength to strength and is now in demand throughout the year. The group had the immense privilege to perform with Alfie Boe at the 2024 RHS Chelsea Flower Show, and recently co-wrote and recorded a song with the Voices of Armed Forces Children’s Choir which is soon to be released. They’re looking forward to bringing back their unique musical talents to the Chelsea History Festival.
