About the event
The South London Jazz Orchestra brings the irresistible sound of Big Band Jazz to the Chelsea History Festival. Performing live at the National Army Museum, this Brixton-based ensemble will play a mix of classic jazz numbers and modern hits guaranteed to get toes tapping and bring a smile to everyone’s face.
This event is funded by City Living Local Life.
About the performers
Founded in 2000, the South London Jazz Orchestra is a talented and diverse group of musicians, passionate about community music. The group is a staple of London events and venues from the London Marathon to the bandstands in Royal Parks, and regularly plays at Fringe Festivals from Edinburgh to Brighton, as well as touring in Europe.
