About the event

Join us on Chelsea Wellness Day for a guided tour of our ‘Myth and Reality’ exhibition that will focus on mindfulness and reflection.

During Queen Victoria’s reign, military art had an enormous impact on the British public. Demand for news from across the globe created a new trade in war correspondence, with reports sent directly from the battlefield.

In this guided-looking session, join a member of the Museum’s Community Team as they focus on three key paintings on display in Myth and Reality: Military Art in the Age of Queen Victoria.

The tour will invite attendees to experience the artworks mindfully, lingering with each piece and reflecting on any emotions that arise.
