This December, join us at Chelsea Physic Garden for a wonderfully Christmassy afternoon, where you’ll learn the art of wreath making using pinecones and other seasonal materials in the peaceful oasis of this healing garden.

About the event

Whether you’re a crafting novice or an experienced wreath maker, this workshop is perfect for anyone looking to add a personal touch to their festive décor. With expert guidance, you’ll learn tips and techniques to create a beautiful, unique wreath that will impress your guests and can adapt each year with natural materials of your choice.

Enjoy a glass of mulled wine as you craft, soak up the festive atmosphere, and take home your handmade creation. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.

Please note: This workshop will take place in our Gallery space, which is reached by a 22-step staircase with a handrail and is not wheelchair accessible. To discuss accessibility, please email enquiries@chelseaphysicgarden.co.uk.

Your ticket includes entry to the Garden for the day and a glass of mulled wine.

FAQs

Is the Chelsea Physic Garden accessible?

Most of the Garden is fully accessible, with the exception of the first floor Gallery at Chelsea Physic Garden which is used only for special events and is only accessible via a narrow 22 step staircase with a handrail.

Are bikes or scooters allowed?

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.

Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.

Can I bring children?

Please adhere to the age range specified for events on the listings page and if appropriate please book a ticket for your child. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult approved by the parent/guardian. This person can accompany a maximum of four children per event. Where permitted, any child over the age of two needs their own seat for events.

The event organiser cannot be responsible for unsupervised children.
