About the event
Join us and other families for a low sensory workshop and roll up your sleeves to unlock the vibrant colours living in our plants. Children will mix their own paints and enjoy a relaxing studio time where they will have a chance to transform plants into art.
This workshop is designed for children ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
When you arrive:
- Please have your ticket ready – printed or on your device – before you arrive.
- Please enter via our main entrance on 66 Royal Hospital Road, Chelsea, SW3 4HS.
Booking information:
- Tickets are £20 for an adult and £15 per child and includes your entry to the Garden that day.
- You need to purchase tickets for everyone attending the workshop, and children much be accompanied by a ticket-holding adult.
FAQs
Is the Chelsea Physic Garden accessible?Most of the Garden is fully accessible, with the exception of the first floor Gallery at Chelsea Physic Garden which is used only for special events and is only accessible via a narrow 22 step staircase with a handrail.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
