Join the festive fun at the National Army Museum this holiday season and meet Father Christmas in his winter grotto.
About the event
Book a slot to meet the one and only Father Christmas during one of our Play Base sessions. Every child will receive a sustainable gift and some Christmas chocolate. Accompanying adults are welcome to take photographs to capture the magic.
Each 15-minute slot is limited to six children’s tickets. While waiting for your turn in the grotto, get creative with some festive crafting. And feel free to come and go from Play Base for the duration of the session.
Additional information
- There is an additional £1.00 booking fee per online transaction.
- Play Base terms and conditions of sale and entry apply.
- Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
- Adults don’t need tickets – just bring your festive spirit.
- A maximum of two adults will be allowed entry per transaction.
- Babes in arms are welcome without a ticket, but they won’t receive a gift.
- Gifts are not suitable for children under 10 months old.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
