Add a sprinkle of creativity to your Christmas celebrations at our festive family workshop in the Soane Stable Yard!
About the event
Led by our wonderful arts and crafts facilitator, Veronica, this hands-on session invites children to decorate their own gingerbread men and charming 2D houses – all made from cardboard, so there’s no need to worry about allergies.
Using watercolours, collage materials, and pre-cut festive shapes, children can design decorations to hang on the tree or gift to someone special. It’s a joyful way to get into the Christmas spirit and make lasting memories together.
This is a free, drop-in activity, ideal for families looking for a relaxed and creative afternoon. All materials are provided, and no booking is required.
Please note: Parents must accompany children at all times. You’re welcome to pick up a coffee or treat from our café before settling in for some festive fun.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
