Get crafty this Christmas at our festive family workshop in the Soane Stable Yard!

About the event

Led by our talented arts and crafts facilitator, Veronica, this hands-on session invites children and families to create their very own Christmas decorations to take home or gift to someone special.

Using watercolours, collage materials, and pre-cut cardboard shapes — including gingerbread men and cosy little houses — children can design decorations ready to hang on the tree. It’s a joyful way to spark creativity and share the magic of the season together.

This is a free, drop-in activity, perfect for families looking to add a personal touch to their Christmas celebrations. All materials are provided, and no booking is required.

Parents must accompany children at all times. Feel free to grab a coffee from our café before settling in for some festive fun.

Are bikes or scooters allowed?

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.

Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
