About the event

The Guards sometimes have to do some pretty amazing work during the night, and to do this they use some special equipment. Things like night vision goggles allow soldiers to see even in the darkest conditions.

Come and craft your own night vision goggles in this fun family workshop!

Drop in at any time during one of these sessions:

  • 10.30am – 12.30pm
  • 1.45pm – 3.45pm

  • Family drop-in activities are available on a first come, first served basis.
  • Booking is not required.
  • This activity is suitable for children aged 5+.
  • All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Are bikes or scooters allowed?

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.

Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
