Kick off your Easter Holidays and get inspired by the Guards! Make your very own bearskin cap, try on some uniforms and have a chat with a serving soldier.
About the event
For over 200 years, the Guards regiments have been an essential part of the British Army, from their important work to their iconic uniforms.
Join us for a chance to craft your very own bearskin cap, try on some historic uniforms and find out from a real soldier what it’s like to serve in the Guards!
Session times
Drop in at any time during one of these sessions:
- 10.30am – 12.30pm
- 1.45pm – 3.45pm
About this family activity
- Family drop-in activities are available on a first come, first served basis.
- Booking is not required.
- This activity is suitable for children aged 5+.
- All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
