About the event
Indulge in an unforgettable evening of operatic passion, drama, and dazzling melodies at the Soane Stable Yard, presented by Opera Prelude. This exclusive event will showcase five of the country’s most exciting and rising operatic talents:
- Natasha Agarwal – Currently starring in a lead role at Opera Holland Park this summer.
- Ellen Pearson – Recently announced as a Jette Parker Young Artist at Covent Garden.
- Ross Cumming – Emerging artist with Scottish Opera. (Performing on the 28th June).
- Sam Young – Singing Aeneas at Longborough Festival this summer (Performing on the 26th June).
- Harry Grigg – Touring with English Touring Opera.
- Lucy Colquhoun – Pianist
Prepare to be swept away by some of opera’s most iconic and beautiful pieces.
Music will include such gems as ‘O mio bambino Caro’ (Puccini ), Nemorino’s ‘Una furtiva lagrima’ (Donizetti), Carmen’s ‘Seguidilla’ and the ‘Toreador’ (Bizet)…. And much much more.

This is an outdoor event held in the open courtyard of the Soane Stable Yard. While we hope for clear skies, the performance will go ahead rain or shine.
In the event of rain, we kindly ask guests not to bring umbrellas, as they may obstruct the view of fellow audience members. Instead, we encourage you to embrace the charm of an English summer evening with a raincoat or poncho – equally practical and just as stylish!
In cases of extreme weather that may pose a risk to safety or significantly impact the performance, we will carefully assess the situation and explore the possibility of rescheduling. Any such decisions will be communicated promptly to all ticket holders.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
