Discover Chelsea’s loud and proud rock 'n' roll heritage with expert tour guide Adam Scott-Goulding.
About the event
Walking through the streets of Chelsea today, it’s not immediately obvious that it was once the epicentre of rock ‘n’ roll in London. Yet the area has a deep and fascinating rock history that can still be discovered, if you know where to look.
Adam Scott-Goudling will explore where our legends of music lived, created and partied, including the Kings Road hangouts of the Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix, the hotel that the Beatles used as their first London base, and the fashion boutiques that were all part of the music scene of the ’60s and ’70s.
This tour will start and end at the National Army Museum. It will last for approximately two hours.
About the speaker
Adam Scott-Goulding is Visit England Tourism Superstar finalist and a City of Westminster Guide (qualified With Distinction). A former national newspaper arts journalist, he has been leading London Music Tours for 20 years.
