Visit the major landmarks and off-beat byways of 1960s Chelsea with expert tour guide Geoff Levett.

About the event

Chelsea was the glamorous epitome of swinging London in the 1960s. Home to dazzling celebrities, such as Mick Jagger, Judy Garland and Mary Quant, it was also a place where filmmakers and writers explored the dark underbelly of British society, with its class tensions, corruption and Cold War paranoia.

Focusing on fashion, film, music and politics, this tour will explore the era’s role in cementing Chelsea’s reputation as the centre of Bohemian London.

The tour will start and end at the National Army Museum. It will last approximately two hours.
