Experience the hectic, thrilling and unpredictable nature of history as Greg Jenner transforms the chronologies of key historic periods into a fantastically funny race through time.
Exploring some of history’s most iconic eras, from the first pharaohs of Ancient Egypt to Roman soldiers in Britain, Greg uses the latest scholarship to reveal surprising, funny and almost unbelievable truths.
For fans of Greg’s podcast series, ‘You’re Dead to Me’, he will be hosting a talk on this topic on Saturday evening at 6.30pm.
About the speaker
Greg Jenner is a public historian, author and podcast host, specialising in communicating history through popular culture. He is best known for his educational comedy podcast, ‘You’re Dead to Me’. His ‘Homeschool History’ radio series won him an army of new fans when it launched on BBC Radio 4 during the Covid pandemic.
As historical consultant to the Bafta award-winning CBBC comedy series ‘Horrible Histories’, Greg ensured the factual accuracy of thousands of side-splitting sketches and songs. He has published three books for adults.
