Enjoy a guided tour of the National Army Museum’s latest special exhibition, ‘Beyond Burma: Forgotten Armies’.

About the event

Between 1941 and 1945, a multinational coalition of British, Indian, Burmese and African troops fought a bitter war against Japanese forces in East Asia. The fighting took place in tropical jungles, often during monsoon rains, and always against a tenacious enemy.

Exhibition lead Alan Jeffreys will highlight the stories of some of the men and women who experienced the campaign. He will also showcase a wide range of rarely seen objects, ranging from weapons and uniforms to medals awarded to those who served.

This tour will last approximately one hour.
