Join us for a historical tour of London’s oldest botanical garden and discover the hidden places and items that dwell within.
About the event
Join us for the Hidden Treasures Tour at Chelsea Physic Garden, a special event for the Chelsea History Festival. This guided walk will take you to tucked-away corners of the Garden and reveal parts of both our living and ‘non-living’ collection. You’ll learn about the Garden’s long history and its connection to the River Thames, uncovering stories and spaces often overlooked.
This tour will be delivered by the staff and Volunteer Guides of Chelsea Physic Garden.
This event is eligible for our 20% ticket bundle discount.
Book tickets to three or more different events across the festival and you can save 20%. Tickets must be purchased in the same transaction and the discount will automatically be applied within the basket.
FAQs
Is the Chelsea Physic Garden accessible?Most of the Garden is fully accessible, with the exception of the first floor Gallery at Chelsea Physic Garden which is used only for special events and is only accessible via a narrow 22 step staircase with a handrail.

Bikes (including folding bikes) and scooters are not permitted. There are bike racks located along Royal Hospital Road. These can be used to secure any bikes and scooters.
Please do not secure any bikes or scooters to the railings outside the Royal Hospital Chelsea or Burton Court. Any items secure to these railings will be removed.
Please adhere to the age range specified for events on the listings page and if appropriate please book a ticket for your child. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult approved by the parent/guardian. The event organiser cannot be responsible for unsupervised children.
